About me

I became interested in hypnotherapy through my background in psychology and counselling and an interest in why we can understand a pattern logically yet still find ourselves repeating it.

My approach is collaborative. Hypnotherapy is not about losing control or being made to do anything. I take time to understand what is happening for you and what you would genuinely like to be different.

I particularly enjoy working with people who appear capable and composed to others but internally struggle with overthinking, self-doubt or pressure.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Counselling from The Open University and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Introduction to Counselling Skills from Chrysalis. My approach is psychology-informed, and I am a Registrant Member of the National Hypnotherapy Society.

Sessions take place online from a private setting of your choice, with the practice based in Surrey.

How sessions work

We begin by discussing what has been happening, how long it has affected you and what you would like to change. This provides the focus for the work.

Sessions are collaborative and proceed at an appropriate pace. You choose what to share and remain fully aware and in control throughout hypnosis.

Some clients choose one focused session; others choose a personalised programme. We agree the approach together and review progress regularly.
